5 Customized Blogger Templates for Blawgs
The last post Building Your Blawg With Blogger - A Tutorial For Beginners showed the ropes of setting up a simple blawg using Blogger.
If you want to make your blawg unique and use other templates than the standard ones offered by Blogger. Take a look at the ones highlighted below:
- Andreas08 Blogger Beta Template: This 2-column template can be customized extensively. The header can have an image plus the links on the navigation bar can be edited to point to links within the blawg or outside the blawg.
Download Andreas08 Blogger Beta Template - Cajas: This template has a vibrant menu bar that can be easily edited to point within the blawg or to external links.
Download Cajas Template - Integral: This template has a rounded corner and a nice combination of blue and green. The main menu can easily be edited to insert any links.
Download Integral Template - Red White Web 2.0 Template: This is a well-designed Web 2.0 type of template with nicely designed buttons. The header can be customized with an image.

How to Install Customized Templates
To quickly customize the template, follow the steps below.
- Download any of the 5 afore-mentioned customized template that is usally in a compressed ZIP format or an XML template.
- Uncompress, if required and open the XML file in an editor like NotePad. Highlight (CTRL + A) and copy (CTRL + C)
- On your Blogger dashboard, click the ‘Template’ tab and the ‘Edit HTML’ link. Clear the ‘Edit Template’ box and paste the code you copied in the step above. Click the ‘Save Template’ button and your new look blawg is up and running.
- Your new customized template is installed and you may want to download a backup by clicking the “Download Full Template” link.
